Terms of Service

By using the services of Jumphost Inc., you agree to be bound by the following "Terms of Service".

Account Terms

You will need to provide the information requested during the onboarding process so we can open an account for you. You are responsible for access to the services provided via your account, so please look after your password(s) to these services. You are also responsible for the content posted and the activity that occurs under the service(s) associated with your account.

Payment, Refunds and Changes

Full Service Hosting, Managed Services and G-Suite Services are 'pay as you go' on a monthly basis. You will either be billed one quarter (three months) in advance or one month in advance for automated payment plans and payment is non-refundable.

Services including additional domain names and SSL certificates are 'pay as you go' on an annual basis. You will be billed one year (twelve months) in advance and payment is non-refundable.

There are no sign-up or set-up fees, however, if your requested service(s) are more complicated than the average account, we will let you know how long it will take and we will agree on a price before we proceed.

There are no long-term contracts. If you add, remove or change any services, the new monthly rate will be charged on your next billing cycle.

Cancellation and Termination

You are responsible for cancelling the services associated with your account by submitting a support request or calling us. All content assoicated with each service will be removed and cannot be recovered once your account is cancelled. You will not be billed again. If we need to suspend or terminate your account for any reason, we will contact you to let you know what the problem is before we proceed.

Modifications to Services and Prices

From time to time we may need to modify the services we provide and we will let you know as soon as we can. We may also need to change the prices of the services and we will give you at least one month’s notice of any changes.

Operating Limits and Force Majeure

We are responsible for what we can reasonably control. Areas that are beyond our control include, but are not limited to: Acts of God, fire, explosion, vandalism, terrorism, loss of power or data connections, the weather, any government laws, orders, rules or regulations, national emergencies, wars, labour difficulties, supplier failures, delays and disruptions of other networks, or delays caused by you or your equipment. We have no control over the manner of your access to our service; if your manner or method of access to your service(s) associated with your account fails, it is not our responsibility.

Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation Of Liability

Our suppliers and hosting partners do not guarantee their services to us so we are unable to guarantee them to you. If, for any reason, we stop providing the services you have paid for, we will owe you the unused service and will refund the amount to the account that paid for the service(s).

Email

We are not spammers, so do not try to use our services for sending spam. If your spam blocker or internet service provider stops us, that is not our responsibility.

Restrictions on Use

You can do almost anything you want with the service(s) you pay for, except provide access to your account to someone else, or use your account to do something illegal. Content is pre-screened for Full Service Hosting services and if said content is potentially libelous, defamatory, or illegal it will not be posted to your website.

Copyright

If you think one of our customers stole content of yours, let us know immediately so we can investigate the situation.

Modification of these Terms and Conditions

We might make changes. If we do we will publish them here and notify you. It is advisable to review these Terms of Service from time to time.

Severability

If one part becomes invalid the rest of the agreement is still valid.

General

If we cannot resolve a problem between the two of us, you will need to work with the laws of the province Ontario, Canada.
